These terms are an agreement between you and , ("we"), the maker of EdgeJournal ("the software"). By downloading or using the software you agree to them.

1. What the software is, and is not

EdgeJournal is software for recording and analysing your own past trades. It is not investment advice, a signal service, a broker or a portfolio manager. Nothing in it (including insights, scores, "what if" results, reports and AI Coach texts) is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Trading forex, CFDs, crypto and other leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money. Past results do not predict future results. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions.

2. Free trial

You may use all features free for the trial period shown in the software. After that, a licence is needed to continue.

3. Licences

A licence (monthly or lifetime) is for one person on one computer. Monthly licences are valid for the period paid for.
Do not share, resell or publish licence keys or passwords, and do not try to bypass the trial or licence checks.
If you change computer, contact us and we will help move your licence.
Payments may be processed by a payment provider (which may act as reseller and handle sales tax) or made directly to us by bKash or bank transfer.

4. Your data

Your journal is stored in your own browser on your computer, and you are responsible for backing it up (Import → Download backup). See the Privacy Policy.

5. Updates and availability

We may release updates. Online features such as the AI Coach depend on third-party services and may sometimes be unavailable. Calculations depend on the data you import; check important figures against your broker statement.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided "as is", and we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
